Retrofonic Funk Machine


We had the pleasure of going to see the guys from Retrofonic Funk Machine a couple of weeks ago. If you haven't seen them yet... you are really missing out. It has been a long time since I have been this impressed with a band. They call themselves an "8 piece groove ensemble" and you can tell they absolutely LOVE what they do. They had so much fun up there! The energy is high, the music is good and you can't help but dance. Highly recommend seeing them (or booking them for a wedding as one of our clients recently did!). And if you can't see them, at least buy their new album, it is seriously good.

Funk Out for Fair Trade


Tonight, Friday the 23rd of March at the Backstage - i'll be bumpin' the big bassey soundsytem with some great local bands playing the full spectrum of funky business. Backstage is located on Bath Street at the former Woolshed. Hope to see you there...
